Our latest and greatest showcase build! Bore Tide benchmarks near the peak of the 99th percentile with over 14,000 points!
This build boasts the greatest gaming CPU ever made, the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Paired with the second best gaming GPU ever made, the MSI Gaming Trio GeForce RTX 4090 features 24gb of GDDR6X dedicated VRAM, and the system has 64gb of DDR5-6400 with award winning Silicon Power Storm RAM. With a lightning fast 4tb Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD, and built onto an ASRock X870 Riptide WiFi motherboard which supports all the features we need, has plenty of room for expansion, great RGB support, and fit the style of this build the best. All built into the Montech King 95 Pro for it's spacious and beautiful showcase design and great customizability.
Based on the famous Alaskan Bore Tides, that can send a wave of whitewater foam up a river at startling speeds, we've set the color profile to a deep glacial blue with a constant racing white flowing through it. Every piece of this build was carefully chosen not just for performance, but for the aesthetic appeal. From the RAM design that looks like subtle waves to the GPU choice that shows the waves going over and through to the core to the case fans that demonstrate the swirling vortex going around, this beauty is a testament to making an art piece out of a computer.
Bore Tide has sold!
This build received immense attention and sold very quickly, so for the first time ever on a showcase build, we decided to rebuild it! This time, we were able to get our hands on an MSI Vanguard GeForce RTX 5090 - the first best gaming GPU ever made - for pretty close to MSRP, a few hundred lower than the current listed price on Amazon or anywhere else. We'll be putting that into Bore Tide 2.0, building the rest of the build with the same top-end specs and attention to detail, and passing on the savings to whoever picks it up!
